El canto del auricanturi

Camila Rodríguez Triana's debut feature, produced by Mutokino (Colombia) in co-production with Gema Films, was selected to participate in the competitive section of the 57th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, which will take place from June 30 to July 8. The film will be the only Latin American presence at the festival.

SYNOPSIS For many years Rocío thought that her mother Alba was dead but now she is reunited with her for the first time since her childhood. She wants to tell her that she is pregnant. Alba, however, suffers a trauma from the war that she experienced in her own flesh and has stopped speaking. While Rocío looks for a way to communicate with her mother, the people around her die and tension grows in the face of an uncertain future.
