REAS, Lola Arias's second documentary, has been selected from among 1,196 productions from 23 countries to compete in the Best Documentary Film category at the 12th PLATINO Ibero-American Film Awards. Reas is a collective work that reinvents the musical genre: the performers dance and sing about their past in prison, relive their lives as fiction, and invent, through fantasy and imagination, a possible future.
REAS, by Lola Arias, is a production by Gema Films, in co-production with Germany (Sutor Kolonko) and Switzerland (Mira Film), premiered at Berlinale Forum 2024.
