Carte Blanche, a new initiative of the Locarno Film Festival announced the projects that were selected to participate of the 2011 edition. CORTA, by director Felipe Guerrero who also made Paraíso was among the shortlist. CORTA received the support from FID-LAB Marseille, Programa Ibermedia, Centre National des Arts Plastiques, BAL-BAFICI and the Centro de Desarrollo Cinematográfico of Colombia.

The Colombian Carte Blanche will take place on Sunday 7th August 2011 in the context of the 64th Festival del film Locarno.
