MIXTAPE LA PAMPA

The International Jury of the 18th Atlantidoc, composed of: Teresa Curzio (Uruguay/Germany), Aldo Garay (Uruguay) and Fabiano Maciel (Brazil), awards the “Félix Oliver” Prize for Best Documentary Feature to Mixtape La Pampa, by Andrés Di Tella, Argentina. For being an original and surprising documentary, a film that takes many narrative liberties, interweaving Hudson's nostalgia and passion for La Pampa; Argentina and the narration of a friendship of the author through shreds of his biography and his own migratory experience. Following in the footsteps of the English ornithologist, the author approaches the center of his own life and the question about the meaning or purpose of all existence. "Mixtape La Pampa" is a mature work, in which Andrés Di Tella manages to take the viewer by the hand on this unusual journey, with surprises, emotion, irony, humor and moments of authentic poetry.
