During 11 days and with a small group of collaborators, Alejandro Montiel registered the holidays of a group of elders at Chapadmalal, a traditional summer resort in Argentina.
Alejandro Montiel was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1971. He graduated as film director from the Universidad del Cine (FUC). He directed seven feature films and one short, including Pescado Crudo (2000), Las Hermanas L (2008), 8 Semanas (2009), Chapadmalal (2009), Extraños en la noche (2012) and Un paraíso para los malditos (2013). He received the Audience Award at the 11th edition of BAFICI with his film 8 semanas. He recently premiered his new film, Perdida (2018).
