REAS

Lola Arias' second documentary will have its international premiere on February 18, 2024 in the Forum section of the 74th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival. REAS is a collective work that reinvents the musical genre: the performers dance and sing about their past in prison, relive their lives as fiction and invent, through fantasy and imagination, a possible future.

Reas is produced by Gema Juárez Allen and Clarisa Oliveri, in co-production with Ingmar Trost (Sutor Kolonko) / Vadim Jendreyko (Mira Film) / SWR – ARTE, with the support of Mecenazgo de Buenos Aires, the National Fund for the Arts , Idfa Bertha Fund, Sundance documentary Fund, Film-und Medienstiftung NRW P2, Bundesamt für Kultur – BAK, BKM Produktion and Film-und Medienkunst Basel.
